I was wondering what made you choose Nikon over Canon when you brought your camera? I am saving my money for a D-SLR and was curious. I think I am going to buy either the Canon Rebel T2i or T3i. But I LOVE your photos so you are making me wonder if I should go with the Nikon 3000 or 3100.... They are cheeper... ;) What are your thoughts?
Gabrielle, choosing between Nikon and Canon is really just personal preference. For the most part, the images they produce are virtually the same. For me, Nikon just seemed to be the best fit, plus my D3000 was a little cheaper than a Canon Rebel. I would recommend going to a camera store and holding both Nikon and Canon cameras to see which one you like best. Maybe you even know someone with a Nikon or Canon DSLR that would let you use it for a bit. But really, I can't give you much advice when it comes to which camera to buy - the choice is ultimately up to you, as you're going to be the one using it, not me :) Good luck!
