apples on a monday [day 241]

today was the best monday in a long time. I was actually sad to see it go. the morning was spent sprawled on a quilt in the backyard with paper and a pencil, a book, and some worksheets. I took a break to photograph some unidentified type of apples growing in the bushes...photography makes my heart swell.

    Mmmm...green apples. This is a great photo with the apple being perfectly framed by the leaves! Glad to hear you had a great Monday. We need more of those, don't we?

    Those are apple pears or Pyrus pyrifolia. Very sweet and very juicy. We used to have a tree in our backyard that had sadly died last year. I miss them.
