around the world [229]

vintage globes are my favorite. and when they're lovely shades of turquoise, well, that's even better. it seems that items found in thrift stores are abundant in this glorious color -- from typewriters to cameras to globes. new collection in the making? I think yes.

    there's so much story in a globe, and it's really fun just to try to imagine what goes on in each little spot, what lives are lived, the people living them.

    Globes, typewriters, and cameras. That's exactly what I'm always looking for in thrift stores but can never find! What thrift stores do you shop at? Like local ones, or places like Goodwill? Maybe you could post some tips to thrifting? That would be awesome!!
